Fine Print of Grand Forks, Inc.
The story of Fine Print of Grand Forks, Inc. starts in 1979 when Fine Print, Inc. was formed in Fargo, North Dakota. Don Kuntz, along with his partner, and one employee operated Fine Print from a small rental unit that featured a garage for a pressroom and a window for a light table. In just three short years, Fine Print was employing four full-time workers and had outgrown its modest location. It was time to expand.
In 1982, Fine Print moved to a larger location capable of housing more equipment and employees. With the business still growing, the decision was made to expand to Grand Forks. Don and his wife, JoAnn relocated to Grand Forks, North Dakota, and on October 1, 1984, a struggling Jet Printing became Fine Print of Grand Forks, Inc.
Since that time, Fine Print has grown to become the largest locally owned printing company in the northern Red River Valley. Fine Print has overcame complete devastation by the Red River Flood of 1997 to build back bigger and stronger in its current location on Gateway Drive in Grand Forks. Along with steady growth in sales and services offered, Fine Print has continually demonstrated its commitment to the Grand Forks community through support of local charities, the Grand Forks Public Schools, local churches, service organizations, community events, and many other organizations and programs in the Grand Forks region.
During 2003, Fine Print has continued to demonstrate its commitment to the Grand Forks by expanding its facility and investing in new equipment. With new equipment such as a 6-color press, large format folder, and a computer to plate system, Fine Print will continue to provide its clients with the highest quality products at the greatest efficiency possible.
